There has been a long process of institutional capture in America. Postmodernism played a big role in it (see Cynical Theories). Eventually America will remember who we are and why we exist. We are the culmination of "the West." This long-term endeavor empowered average people. Democracy, Christianity and capitalism all worked together, to empower the individual, to help the common good. They offered checks and balances on one another, which maximized freedom. It is vital for colleges, like Harvard, to fight for free speech. Taking down postmodernism would be a huge step in the right direction. This fascist ideology has lead to an authoritarianism, that is destroying the West.
